Welcome to the homepage of the Barwon Rowing Club. The Barwon Rowing Club is based on the Barwon River in Geelong, Victoria. We have a strong and successful rowing program which caters for: - Senior Rowing,
- Veteran/Masters Rowing,
- School Age Rowing,
- Social Rowing, and
- Learn-To-Row programs.
Established in 1870, the Barwon Rowing Club is the oldest rowing club in Geelong, and is one of the oldest in the State. We are also proud of the fact that we have continuously operated since starting in 1870. Across our history our members have participated at State and National and International rowing competition. The Club currently supports approximately 170 members with varying rowing ability, from a first time beginner to elite athlete and our diverse programs are well matched. For more information, have a look around our new website or for more information about the Club and our activities, send us an email. |
